    Home Group #1 (former Dicus group) is meeting today after services at Jason’s Deli. See Rick Brown or Todd with any questions.

     

    Home Group #2 (Smith group) is meeting today at Margarete’s home at 3pm. See Kervin Smith for details.

     

    Youth Dinner/Devo is meeting tonight at Todd & Debbie’s at 6pm

     

    LAKESIDE T-SHIRTS AVAILABLE:

    Lakeside has ordered T-shirts to wear at our special events and you can pick one up for a donation of $10. There is a signup sheet in the back if we need to order different sizes for you or your children. Price can be paid online through our Easy tithe secure system or given to Todd or Pam. Just screenshot your online receipt to present for pickup if paying online.

     

    MEN'S FALL BIBLE STUDIES:

    The Men's Monday Evening Bible Study meets at the Moulton's home at 6:30pm. The Tuesday Morning Men's Study meets at Eggsquisite Cafe at 6:30am. Make plans to share this time at one or both of these studies. See Todd if you have any questions. 


    WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICES:

    Our Bible Classes for ALL AGES has started! This Fall our 2yrs-PreK will meet in Rm 13, Kinder-3rd in Rm 3, and 4th-6th gr in the right portable. The adults will meet in the auditorium and youth in the Teen Room. 


    LADIES FRIDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY: 

    Lakeside ladies, the Fall study session has started. This study is opened and encouraged for women of all ages and stages of life and meets at 10am. From grandmothers to young women and all in between. This Fall our study will be the same as the Monday Night Ladies Bible Study, "Heaven: When Faith Becomes Sight," by Jennifer Rothschild, and it can be purchased on Amazon, Christian Book, or at Lifeway.com. Please let Janice Nance know if you would like help purchasing your book. Free childcare is available, but please give Janice a headcount so we are fully staffed and ready for your little ones. We can't wait to see you all back this Fall. Class will resume in the right portable.


    CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR NANCY MCGEE:
    Tis coming Sunday at Creekside Church in Midlothian there will be a memorial for Nancy, the beloved wife of Les McGee, at 4pm. We want to extend our deepest heartfelt condolences to Les and his family. We we so blessed to have Nancy worship with us in person when she was having a good day physically. She was a beautiful spirit-filled Christian sister that loved the Lord and touched many lives over the years. Please join us in lifting this family up in prayer during this difficult time of such a great loss to their family and ours.

  • PRAYER LIST: Requests/Praises/Needs

    Les McGee and the passing of his wife, Nancy. Memorial services will be October 12th, Creekside Church in Midlothian, at 4pm. 


    Sandy Hanner- for health concerns.


    James Wilhite- please pray for his health, his chronic stomach issues and his back and neck injuries suffered in a car accident. 

    Pat Baines- hip replacement was successful and she is recovering at this time. 

    Meghin Gomez's grandmother is in the hospital again due to complications after surgery.  


    Continue to remember:  Caithi Daigle, Jim & Jeanette Bratton, Josh Disotell (Karen McDonald's nephew), Susan Suehs (Ashley Bray's mother), Sandy Hanner, Michelle Sawyer's son Brant, the McGee's, Mrs. Ann, the Smith's friend Liz Baker who lost her husband, Margarete Schmidt's friend Don Rogers who has entered hospice for his cancer and seeks pain management.
