Family Matters: Sunday/Wednesday/Everyday

  • THIS WEEK: DOING LIFE TOGETHER

    OUR FAMILY IS GROWING: 
    We are excited to share that last week Chris, Angie, Tyler, and Ethan Martin decided to call Lakeside HOME! They have been visiting and meeting our families over the last few months and we have come to love them and their desire to worship and serve together. If you haven't had the chance to meet them, please do! Their address is 6211 Meadowmere Ln, Arlington, 76001. Their son Ethan is a senior at Martin HS, and Tyler is working on his Master Plumber license. Welcome Martin family. Lakeside can't wait to work and grow beside you and your family. 


    WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE: 

    Join Lakeside Wednesday evening  as we come together for mid-week Bible Class at 7pm. NEXT week on March 19th we will have an All-Church Devo at 7pm due to MISD Spring Break and many of our families and teachers traveling.


    MEN'S BIBLE STUDY:

    Both of the weekly Men's Bible Studies will resume this week. The Monday night study at the Moulton's at 6:30pm, and the Tuesday morning study at Eggsquisite Cafe, Mansfield, at 6:30am. Make this part of your weekly devotion time and grow your relationship with these men and with the Lord as you start fresh in 2025.


    LADIES BIBLE STUDY:

    This 9-week study meets in the right portable at 10am every Friday morning and is open to women of all ages. They do follow the MISD calendar and therefore they will not meet on March 21st due to Spring Break. See Janice Nance with any questions.

  • PRAYER LIST: Requests/Praises/Needs

    Mike Leeds- will have a heart procedure on Monday March 10th. Please keep him, Kelly, and Braydon in your prayers as he prepares and as he heals. 

    Rilla Master's mother, Judy McWilliams, age 77, passed away February 28 and her services are Saturday, March 15 at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, 1pm with visitation at 11am until service time. May Rilla and her family find the peace and comfort that we wish for her and feel the love that we are sending her way. 

    The David Jones family     is displaced at this time due to a house fire. Please keep them in your thoughts as they navigate the process of this event. We are collecting gift cards and taking meals if you would like to be a part of this ministry. Please text Erin Przygoda or the church office if you would like to help this family. 


    Pat Baines- prayers as she prepares for upcoming knee replacement.  

    Tony Bray (Mike Bray's nephew)- is in rehab for paralysis suffered during a stroke. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he recovers.


    Dan Sawyer (Michelle's brother-in-law)- is struggling with cancer at this time and we want to cover him and his family in prayer as he goes through treatment.

    Ann Wilson- is suffering with severe GI issues at this time and we want to cover her in prayer for healing and relief from the pain and discomfort.

    The Smith's friend, Jocelyn, who's son suffered a crushed skull and endured brain surgery after a serious accident at school. The boys name is Uriah. Please pray for a full recovery for this child. Also for Verna on the passing of her aunt.


    Continue to remember:  Karen McDonald (appt @ MD Anderson 3/24), Cory Mavrolis (Ally Ocheskey's brother and a former member), Sally (Verna Smith's mother)-strength and health and for Verna as she is her long distance caregiver, Darla Sandlin (breast cancer), Mikaela (May) Hall- leukemia, Diane Hudgens (former member-cancer).
