AN EVENING WITH JULIE: AUGUST 10TH @ 5PM

Mark your calendar and prepare to join us for a special evening with renowned Christian author and missionary, Julie Busler. Come here her story of how losing her parents at an early age to cancer and suicide, becoming a missionary's wife and mother of four, she found herself in a Turkish psychiatric hospital trapped in her own mental breakdown. As Julie says, " We all need a Savior, we need help, and we need to have a dependence of Jesus, which sometimes means getting help in the journey!" Invite your friends and bring those who mean the most to you! 

CHARLOTTE ANDERSON PREP ACADEMY COMMUNITY OUTREACH: NEXT MONDAY AUGUST 11TH
THIS COMING MONDAY is our Annual Community Outreach event to help Charlotte Anderson Prep Academy start off their school year and Meet The Teacher Night with a Hot Dog Dinner prepared and provided by Lakeside. We start serving at 5:15pm in their cafeteria and we NEED VOLUNTEERS to assemble the food trays with the hot dogs and sides. We expect to serve 350-400 people including parents, students, and staff. The hot dogs will be cooked/wrapped at Lakeside so if you can help wrap earlier in the afternoon, please text Rilla Masters. This is a great opportunity to bring the whole family and serve together! We need your help, your heart, and your "happy" smile as we have the honor of giving back to the community where we live and work! See Debbie or Todd for details.

WEDNESDAY EVENING PRAYER WALK:

This Wednesday, August 13th,  is the 1st day back for area schools and to coincide with all of the students, staff, and families heading back to school Lakeside will have a Prayer Walk at 7pm. As a family you will go through the different classrooms and pray for specific areas of our life and ministry, including our missionaries, our members, our families, our community, our students/staff, and your own family! Each room will have something for the adults and younger family members as you travel together from beginning to end. 

SPLASH: DIVING INTO GOD'S WORD: RESUME AUGUST 20TH

WEDNESDAYS in August. Adults meet for a series on Hebrews called "Anchor For The Soul", while kids and students ages 3yrs - 6th grade will have a Bible lesson, crafts, skits, games, snacks, and wrap it all up the first week in August. Boys ages 4th-6th grade are meeting in Room 6 for a special bible lesson and connect time. Youth Group ages 7th-12th grade meet in the teen portable for the month of August. The week of August 20th the story will be "Patience: Fruits Of The Spirit".
